REGULATION OF MEMORIAL PARK “BUBANJ” THROUGH FUND
FOR FINANCING OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Ministry for Public Administration and Local Government of Government of Republic of Serbia approved the funding to the City municipality of Palilula in Nis, the amount of 1.400.000 RSD, for realizing of second phase of the project of regulation of memorial park “Bubanj”. To the City Municipality of  Palilula the second time is approved project and allocated money from fund that is forming exercise off assets of organizing games of chance and it is used for financing local government. Funds authorized for this purpose, according to president of City Municipality of Palilula Prof. Dr. Igor Novakovic, will focus, with resources already provided from the Council of “Film Festival”, for making footpaths, reconstructions damaged concrete and stone surfaces on the memorial, reconstructions existing electrical lighting of amphitheater and other space of memorial complex “Bubanj”, setting playgrounds, benches, create ramp at the entrance to the park, setting container – trash.

Area of the detailed urban plan Memorial park “Bubanj, that is in year 1963 renamed in memorial park, includes 42 hectare park surface. Thanks to the project team and management of Municipality, after fifty years, this space is filed in the books of Republic Geodetic Institute which is provided the necessary conditions for interior of this popular holiday resorts.
